Confirm an Interview or Ask the Family for a New Time

Updated October 25, 2026

A family who wants to meet your agency asks for an interview on Latter Years, and it lands on your Interviews page under Upcoming, awaiting your response. Confirm it or ask for a different time, and the family is told either way.

Confirm or ask for a new time

Each upcoming interview shows the family, the day and time, and where it stands: Awaiting your response, Confirmed, or You requested a new time. Tap Confirm to confirm it.

To change it, tap Request new time, add an optional note telling the family why (they can see it), and tap Send request. A family whose lead has closed shows "This lead is closed." and has nothing to answer.

The number beside Interviews

The count beside Interviews in the side menu is the interviews still ahead that nobody has confirmed. Confirm them and it goes down.

After the interview

Once the day comes, a "Log the interview" link appears beside it and opens the family's Interview notes. Answer What they cared about, What worried them and What you promised, add Anything else, and tap Mark interviewed. You can leave the answers blank and add them later, and the family never sees them.

Talked without booking?

On the family's page, Log an interview records a conversation nobody booked here, with the same questions. Logging it marks the family as interviewed, so check it is the right family.

Past and canceled interviews

Below Upcoming, Past lists the interviews whose time has gone by and Canceled lists the ones called off. Tap a family's name to open their page.

Who sees which interviews?

Your agency's admin sees every interview, and other team members see the interviews of the families assigned to them. Interviews come with a paid plan; on the free plan the page stays greyed out, and an agency whose listing is not live yet sees that a family wants to interview but must activate to see when and to confirm.
